| Abstract | Songs designed for use with the University of Hawaii curriculum, "Music for Preschool," are presented alphabetically with the recommended level for introduction of each song included after its title. Instructions for using the songs in the preschool program are found in the curriculum manual. There are specific suggestions for using the songs in the music program as well as recommendations for using them for developing language and numerical concepts. The origin of each song is also noted, whether it is from a foreign country, a particular state, or is a particular type such as spiritual, game song, etc. (LH) |
